Introducing City Green's Seed Lending Library!
City Green's Seed Lending Library is now open to the community! What is a Seed Lending Library? A Seed Lending Library is a “library” containing seeds that can be exchanged throughout the community. Here at City Green, the Seed Lending Library contains a variety of vegetable seeds, including many of the varieties we use on our farms! City Green Teaches Teachers as Part of the New Jersey Climate Change Learning Collaborative!
Last year, City Green was awarded a grant from the Ramapo College of New Jersey’s Climate Change Learning Collaborative (CCLC) that operates in partnership with the New Jersey Department of Education. City Green Nominates Henry Anderson for the Rodale Institute Good Farmer Award U.S.
City Green recently nominated our Director of Agriculture, Henry Anderson, for the Rodale Institute Good Farmer Award U.S.! Passaic County Grows Greener with Dig In! Tree, Bulb, and Perennial Grants
This past fall, 22 Passaic County groups planted flowers, shrubs, trees, and more as part of the Dig In! Tree, Bulb, & Native Perennial Grant program.
