Farm and Market Assistant
Farm and Market Assistants serve as seasonal staff for our farming, Veggie Mobile, and CSA operations. They support every aspect of getting fresh produce to people’s tables, from seeding to harvesting to packing to selling. The Farm and Market Assistant will work with City Green’s farm team to prepare and maintain crop beds and fields, harvest, process, and pack vegetables in preparation for City Green’s Veggie Mobile and CSA programs.
This position is offered at $15.50 an hour.

Farm and Livestock Assistant
The Farm and Livestock Assistant serves as seasonal staff for our farm operations. They support every aspect of getting fresh produce to people’s tables, from seeding to harvesting to packing. Farm and Livestock Assistants work with City Green’s farm and market team to prepare and maintain crop beds and fields, harvest, process, and pack vegetables in preparation for City Green’s Veggie Mobile and CSA programs. Farm and Livestock Assistants will participate in daily and weekly farm animal chores and care for a small flock of 2 rabbits, 5 goats and 18 chickens. Animal care responsibilities include daily feeding, watering, pen cleaning, assisting with our rotational chicken grazing program, collecting and cleaning eggs, and general animal pen maintenance.
This position is offered at $15 an hour.
This position is between 24 and 32 hours a week.
