City Green is pleased to announce that it has been selected to receive a $131,000 grant through the New Jersey Office of the Food Security Advocate’s (OFSA) New Jersey Food System Enhancements Program (FSEP). This funding will support an expansion of the Good Food Bucks program, a project that will increase the purchasing power of WIC FMNP and Senior FMNP participants when buying fresh fruits and vegetables from participating farm-direct retailers throughout New Jersey. Last year, City Green was awarded a grant from the Ramapo College of New Jersey’s Climate Change Learning Collaborative (CCLC) that operates in partnership with the New Jersey Department of Education. City Green recently nominated our Director of Agriculture, Henry Anderson, for the Rodale Institute Good Farmer Award U.S.!
