About the Event
Open Family Saturdays are an opportunity for families with children to enjoy exploring the Learning Farm, connect with the natural world, and learn about the seasonal themes presented by the Farm Eco-Center. At Open Family Saturday you will find self-led learning stations, get to feed the goats and visit the chickens, and also plenty of opportunities for free play and exploration.Â
The theme for this month is The Buzz on Bugs. You'll learn all about the wide world of creepy critters, grubs, insects, and the winged-wonders that call our garden home.Â
Aside from all of the free play and nature exploration, we will have some activities for you. The activities this month are:Â
- Bug hunt
- Design your own insect
- Insect yogaÂ
