In keeping with City Green’s belief that good food should be available to all people regardless of location or economic status, City Green utilizes the Veggie Mobile to deliver fresh produce to locations where it might otherwise be inaccessible.
The Veggie Mobile is a custom-designed refrigerated box truck and mobile market that effectively transports City Green produce across New Jersey to a variety of different locations. The Veggie Mobile provides increased access to fresh, local produce for residents who are unable to conveniently obtain healthy foods and do not have transportation to visit City Green’s farm stands.
As at all City Green's markets, the Veggie Mobile accepts and doubles federal food benefits so our customer's dollars go even further when purchasing fresh, local food.
In addition to the Veggie Mobile, City Green hosts Farm Stands at the Farm Eco-Center every Wednesday and Friday during the market season. Customers visit the farm to purchase fresh, organic produce directly where it was grown!

Directly integrated into the farm stand operation is City Green’s “Growing Strong” program, where local high school students are employed to grow and harvest the produce and bring it to market. Growing Strong interns manage the farm stands and sell the farm-fresh food directly to their own neighbors while helping customers understand the value and health benefits of cooking with organic vegetables.
In addition to providing direct access to healthy food at affordable prices, City Green’s farm stands function as community gathering spaces and visual reminders that fresh food is being grown right around the corner. Farm stands generally operate from the first week of June through November.
City Green offers a Summer and Winter Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) program to provide our community with delicious, nutritious, and fresh produce. ​By joining our CSA members receive a box of fresh, organic City Green produce every week.
City Green’s 2023 Summer CSA runs for 22 weeks, June DATE - November DATE.​ CSA's can be purchased using cash, credit, SNAP, WIC, & Senior FMNP

City Green's Good Food Buck program is New Jersey's only statewide SNAP-Doubling farmers' market incentive program. City Green provides funding, training, and technical assistance to farmers markets, farm stands, mobile markets, and CSA's so that ALL of our neighbors can double the amount of fresh fruits and vegetables on their tables, while at the same time supporting the people who grow our food. Every time a customer spends $1 of their SNAP benefits at any participating farmers' market or farm stand, they receive an additional $1 in Good Food Bucks for more locally-grown fruits and vegetables! DOUBLE spending power means DOUBLE fruits and vegetables. Some partner locations are even eligible to double the value of WIC FMNP and Senior FMNP vouchers with Good Food Bucks!
