Learn how to make the most out of your garden’s bounty by pickling vegetables! Led by Alex Caroleo, City Green’s Farm Market Director, you’ll learn about food preservation methods, food safety considerations, and how you can pickle almost anything that grows in your garden!
Attendees will choose from an assortment of farm fresh, City Green vegetables to pickle with guidance from City Green’s staff. Each guest will leave with two pints of homemade “refrigerator” pickles and recipe cards for crafting your own pickles at home.
