Volunteer & Learn Workshops: Dirt Matters!

Volunteer and Learn Workshops  Join City Green's  Wednesday evening volunteer sessions at the Clifton Farm Eco-Center and learn from our expert farmers about a variety of farming and gardening topics. After the workshop ends, attendees will apply their new knowledge during that evening’s volunteer activity. These workshops are free to the public.

May 8th: Dirt Matters!  At 5pm we will host a special workshop alongside our volunteer session, during which our farmers will talk about the importance of soil quality and soil science on the farm. City Green’s Director of Agriculture, Henry Anderson, in a conversation about the value of healthy soil for our gardens and ecosystem as a whole.  Henry will demonstrate ecological soil-building techniques used on the farm that you can apply at home for your most abundant garden yet.
