About the Event
Celebrate Earth Day by volunteering at City Green!
Join us at the Farm Eco-Center on April 20th to volunteer in our gardens from 9:30 AM - 12:00 PM or on the farm from 4:30 PM - dusk. In the afternoon, bring your children to the Learning Farm for a Birthday Party for Luna the Goose! Children ages 4-7 are welcome from 4:00 PM - 5:00 PM and children ages 8-13 are welcome from 5:00 PM - 6:00 PM.
Spaces for this event are limited and registration is required in advance. To register, please "purchase" a ticket below for the event you would like to attend. Each individual volunteer and child must "purchase" a ticket.

Come celebrate our favorite goose Luna's birthday in our Learning Farm! During this special event, kids will learn about bird life cycles, habitats, and feeding preferences through hands-on, nature-based activities. Kids will craft eggy birthday cards, play games, and make a birthday cake for a goose! This program is fully outdoors.

Come Celebrate Luna the goose for her first birthday! Meet Luna and her chicken crew, learn about the history of geese and bird life-cycles, craft a goose-approved birthday cake and take part in a tricky egg scavenger hunt across the Learning Farm. This program is fully outdoors, so dress appropriately!
