Senior Day at the Lou Costello Park Veggie Mobile

Join us at Senior Day at the Veggie Mobile at Lou Costello Park on Tuesday, August 9th from 11:00 am - 1:00 pm!

The Paterson Division of Senior Services will be at the Veggie Mobile registering adults aged 60 years and older for Senior Farmers Market Nutrition Program (Senior FMNP) checks. Seniors who apply will receive $24 in Senior FMNP vouchers to purchase fresh fruits and vegetables throughout the summer at the Lou Costello Farm Stand. Those interested in signing up must bring their Medicaid Card or their Medicare Card and SSI statement (or other proof of income) to complete the application.

During “Senior Day” at Lou Costello Park, seniors will receive a tour of the Veggie Mobile, sample recipes made using City Green produce available for sale, enter to win raffle prizes, enjoy classic music, and more. Spanish translators will be available and City Green staff will be on hand to assist customers, answer any questions, and offer recipe ideas.
