Pruning Workshop

Join us in the gardens at the Farm Eco-Center on Saturday, March 25th from 1 PM - 2:30 PM for a pruning workshop with Ryan Hirsch of Well Rooted Gardening.  This workshop will provide the foundations of successful hand pruning, recommendations of best tools for use, and technical demonstration to show you how to approach pruning at your own home garden.  Attendees are encouraged to dress appropriately for this outdoor event and bring all their pruning questions.

Ryan is a passionate horticulturist and gardener with 10 plus years' experience in the greenhouse and plant health care industry. Currently operating Well Rooted Gardening, a small gardening business in Northern New Jersey, much of its focus during the growing season is on hand pruning all types of specimen gardens— from naturalistic perennial gardens to shapely British hedges.
