Herbal Salve Making Workshop

Join us for a DIY Herbal Salve making workshop, hosted by Lana Mustafa from Montclair Community Farms!  Together we'll explore the healing benefits of calendula, yarrow, plantain leaf, and comfrey, and learn how to create our own oil infusions and first-aid healing salves.

About Lana: Lana Mustafa is a passionate Palestinian mother of 3, Earth Steward, and life student, who embodies the same curiosity for the world today that she held as a child planting her first seeds. This curiosity led her to follow her calling and desire to serve her community. As Farm and Program Director of Montclair Community Farms, she works with youth, introducing them to the wonders of nature while instilling work readiness training and the entrepreneurial possibilities in agriculture. She manages 2 production urban farm sites, an apiary, a flock of chickens, and her Clifton Homestead. Lana is a community herbalist, who loves learning and exploring the wonders of medical plants.  She grows her own herbs and uses them in tinctures, teas, and oils.
