Give back to your community while learning about food, urban farming and gardening and the environment at City Green’s Urban Farm and Eco Center! City Green offers volunteer student and camp groups, with participants in grades 5th to 12th, a 2-hour Service Learning Field Trip opportunity.

 

Service Learning/Volunteer Field Trips for students in grades 5th to 12th will be limited to a 30-person maximum.

The 2-hour program is broken down into the following components:

• 30-minute farm tour and introduction to City Green 

• 45-minutes hands-on work in the farm fields and gardens

• 45-minute educational activity

• 15 minutes for free time/snack

 

Fees:

The fee for any City Green Service Learning/Volunteer Field Trip is $11.00 per participant. Please make the check payable to “City Green, Inc.” and send the check via mail to City Green, 171 Grove Street, Clifton, NJ 07013.
