APPLICATION GUIDELINES AND ELIGIBILITY
ELIGIBILITY: This program supports community organizations, faith-based organizations, municipal “adopt-a-lot” programs, garden clubs, green teams, and energetic community members looking to spearhead a public, community garden project. Projects must be located in Passaic County.
NOT ELIGIBLE:

Projects outside of Passaic County are not eligible.

Schools and youth-serving organizations are not eligible to apply. Please contact Emma Latham, School Grounds Manager at: elatham@city-green.org for school garden inquiries and Liz Kleisner, City Sprouts Manager at: lkleisner@city-green.org for educational youth programing.

Commercial for-profit entities and private residences are not eligible for funding.
Dig In! Returning Community Garden Application

Applicants must maintain a minimum of three adults committed to their project

Only existing Dig In! partners can apply.

Second-year gardens can request funding up to $1,000 and must provide a 15% match
-
Third-year or older gardens can request funding up to $500 and must provide a 20% match
Applications are due September 13th, 2021 at 11:59 pm EST.
Complete Sections I, II, and III of the application.
Be sure to upload all photos, testimonials, a completed budget sheet and letter of support.
Provide the electronic signature of all three Project Coordinators.
Respond to each question in 100 words or more.
